"Velpa-91" JSC commensed production back in 1973 working in the field of "Corrugated cardboard and packages production".

In 1985 the plant was reconstructed aiming at increasing the production capacity of the machines producing corrugated cardboard and packages.

In 1991 a new reconstruction of the plant was carried out. Stamping machines were installed for the production of stamped packges. New Italian equipment of higher capacity was purchased for corrugated cardboard production of better quality, as well as a new machine for producing American type transportation packages. Machines for small serial production of stamped and masked packages were also delivered. Machines like Bobst, Jagenberg, Roda and Vupa were integrated into the production.

• introducing new types of products such as the luxury customer packages and further developing that niche market;
